FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can’t find your answer? Ask us directly — we reply within one business day.
01Which materials do you work with?
We machine tool steels (e.g. 1.2379, 1.2344), structural steels, stainless steels and aluminium alloys, and use copper and graphite electrodes for EDM. For non-standard materials we make an individual technical assessment — send us your specifications.
02What is CNC machining and what are its advantages?
CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining is a computer-controlled process that delivers high precision, repeatability and consistent quality — for single prototypes as well as series production with tight tolerances.
03Do you make tools and parts from a drawing or a sample?
Yes. We make tools and precision metal parts from technical drawings, CAD files, sketches or physical samples. We also offer technical advice and design optimisation to improve manufacturability and reduce cost.
04Which quality-control procedures do you use?
Every part goes through dimensional and visual inspection with precision measuring instruments — micrometers, calipers, height gauges and dial indicators. A full geometry check is carried out before final delivery.
05Do you service and refurbish existing tools?
Yes. We repair tools, make dimensional adjustments and refurbish components — including replacing worn or damaged elements — with minimal impact on your production schedule.
06What tolerances can you achieve?
Jig grinding on HAUSER machines achieves tolerances down to ±0.001 mm, precision surface grinding ±0.005 mm and CNC milling ±0.01–0.02 mm. Exact tolerances depend on the part’s geometry, the material and the process used.
